St. Lucy District Hospital thanked BARP for the kind New Year’s gift of some much needed new fans presented by BARP President Kathleen Drayton.

On behalf of the hospital, Staff Nurse Collymore also thanked BARP volunteers for their help and support in establishing a wide range of recreational projects for patients at the St. Lucy institution. 

Loyal BARP volunteers Millis Sobers-John, Marlene Thompson and Gloria Baker attend the hospital every Monday and work with a group of patients on various activities to help keep the patients' minds active and give them something to look forward to every week. 

BARP co-ordinator for the Association's island wide Hospital Recreational Activities programme, Joyce Cole-Georges was also at the presentation.
