CROP OVER came and went and so did the The Barbados Association of Retired Persons SilverSoca Xplosion on Saturday, July 26, 2014, held
at the Sea Rocks Dome in Maxwell, Christ Church.
The event was a resounding success, according to president of BARP Ed Bushell, and “a great time was had by all”.
As part of the BARP On The Move Campaign aimed at managing non-communicable diseases, the event allowed members to engage in physical activity,
socialize, network and participate in a Crop Over activity in a safe and secure environment, Mr. Bushell said.
BARP thanked all those who attended the event, those who worked tirelessly to make it happen and especially the sponsors without
whose generosity and participation, the event, would not have been such a success.
“We value your support to the event and we look forward to a bigger and better 2015 BARP SilverSoca Xplosion!”, said an ecstatic Bushell.
Sponsors of the event included: Massy Stores, Mount Gay, A-ONE Supermarkets, ICBL, Signia Financial, Screen Play, IDNZ, BARP On The Move, MCTV, The Barbados Beach Club, Nicholls Baking Co, Coles Printery and Ticket Pal.
BARP is also grateful to The Barbados Manufacturers Association, Scotiabank, and Divi Southwinds.
